Standard terms and conditions of sale to groups
These terms and conditions concern the sale of products proposed by the Cité des sciences et de l’industrie, hereinafter called the C.S.I., to groups. It is hereby specified that when an organisation has signed an agreement with the C.S.I., the terms and conditions of the said agreement will prevail.

ARTICLE 1 - CONFIRMATION OF TICKET BOOKINGS:
All booking requests must be confirmed at the latest on the date indicated on the back of the document entitled “Booking Confirmation”.
The said confirmation, which secures the booking, can take one of the following forms:

1. A cheque to the order of “Le Régisseur D.E.P.A. de la C.S.I.” for the amount corresponding to the total booking
2. Payment by credit card
3. An administrative order indicating the number, the type of tickets and the total amount, together with the details of the paymaster, written legibly. The order must be validated by the paymaster.

In return, the C.S.I. will send a receipt of payment or acknowledgement of receipt of the order. No tickets will be issued unless proof of payment or a payment commitment is produced.
FOR GROUP VISIT PACKAGES:
Booking with our delegated operator Purple Beam is compulsory, either by phoning (+ 33 1 41 10 08 10) or faxing (+ 33 1 41 10 08 11). A booking confirmation is required for all bookings in one of the two following forms: 
- A cheque to the order of Purple Beam for the amount corresponding to the total booking
- Payment by credit card.

ARTICLE 2 - INVOICES
Invoices can be issued on receipt of correctly made out orders.

ARTICLE 3 – TICKET ISSUE
The tickets will be available for collection as soon as confirmation of the order is received. The tickets can be collected from the C.S.I.’s Group Reception desk on the day of the visit at the latest on presentation of proof of payment or acknowledgement of receipt of the order.

ARTICLE 4 - CANCELLATION
- There will be a full refund for cancellation in writing at least 30 days prior to the visit.
- If cancellation in writing is received 29 to 8 days before the visit, a 50 euro penalty will apply if the total amount corresponding to the tickets is over 100 euro; the penalty will be 20 euros if the total is less than or equal to 100 euros.
- There will be no refund if cancellation is received less than 8 days prior to the visit, in which case the price of the tickets, whether already paid or confirmed by written order, will be owed in full.

ARTICLE 5 – REFUND
If the C.S.I. is required to cancel all or part of its commitments, either due to unavoidable circumstances inherent to the operation of the C.S.I. or in the event of default on the part of a service provider, clients will be entitled either to reimbursement of the sums corresponding to the services not provided, together with the booking fee, and to the exclusion of damages of any kind, or to replacement, insofar as possible, by another equivalent service not included in the initial programme.

ARTICLE 6 – VALIDITY OF PRICES
The C.S.I. and the Géode manage all the activities that take place on their premises and are included in their self-discovery programme. All prices, schedules and programmes proposed by the C.S.I. and the Géode can be modified without notice. Prices are given by way of information and have no contractual value. They will be confirmed when the booking is secured.
The prices of group visit packages are drawn up on 30th June 2006 and are valid up until 31st August 2007. They are indicated per person for groups of 20 people minimum.

ARTICLE 7 – APPLICABLE LAW - DISPUTES

1. These standard terms and conditions of sale are governed by French law. Any disputes will be submitted to the Paris courts, to which the parties hereby accord jurisdiction.

The placement of an order signifies acceptance of these terms and conditions of sale.
