In 1998, the Cité adapted two of its temporary exhibitions:

• New Images, New Networks is the first collaboration with the Barcelona Science Museum. Thanks to the duplication of the Navigation Room, the adapted exhibition offers an introductory journey through two innovations: the boom of the "new image", the animated and interactive digital image, and the global development of communication networks that allow the exchange of these images and other types of information.

• Measure was adapted for the National Technical Museum in Prague.
  Presented on 200 m2, the exhibition allowed visitors to discover three topics: Health, the body's physiological condition; Sport, the capacities of the body in motion; the Senses, the body as a measuring tool.
