You now have access to the settings for the screen resolution or the number of colours. All you have to do is click on the desired number in the "Resolutions" menu or the "Number of colours" menu.

Look and see if you can increase your resolution from 640*480 to 800*600 or more.
While you are there, check that the number of colours selected is set at the maximum number.
The maximum setting should already be there by default, but some video games set the number of colours at 256 automatically without ever resetting the default.

While you are there, check that the number of colours selected is set at the maximum number. The maximum setting should already be there by default. However, certain video games that use a 256-colour display automatically set the number of colours at this value when they start running, but do not reset the previous number of colours when you stop playing.

The next paragraph tells you how to enlarge your display space a little more.
